I get that some people ship some of the following ships over the ships listed in that comic. But my reasons why I don't are also there.
- NERZA (Natsu x Erza) : ok, but what? I get that some people are like "ooooh opposites attract" but Erza and Natsu are just not compatible. Erza is so serious and Natsu would just feel confined by her.
- GRAYLU (Gray x Lucy) : let's just think about this for a moment--what about Juvia? We can all agree that Juvia's a stronger wizard than Lucy, and I personally don't think Juvia would fit with anyone besides Gray, so Lucy would literally be murdered by Juvia.
- NAJU (Natsu x Juvia) : this feeds in from the previous ship (Graylu), because I know some people say, "OOOOH, Graylu is perfect, and then Naju can get together!!". Haha, very funny, NO. Look, I'm a strong Nalu shipper, but even Nali makes a small amount of sense. I get people think Natsu and Juvia sharing gossip together would be great, and yes, it would. But seriously--sharing gossip doesn't lead to love. And these two would practically drive each other insane. Natsu's so peppy, and Juvia's like a little cheerleader, but they need someone to cheer for. Eventually, they'd get bored and crawl back to Lucy or Gray.
- GRATZU (Gray x Natsu) : ok I really don't know what to say for this one other then its my number 1 brotp, but nothing else.
- MIRAXUS (Mira x Laxus) : I just really don't see this. Laxus watched Mira grow up, and if I were him, I wouldn't be able to see anything but a little toddler. If he kissed her, it'd be like kissing a little sister. Also, I'm a strong Fraxus (Freed x Laxus) shipper, since my poor baby Freed needs to find happiness.
- NALI (Natsu x Lisanna) : Ok, this is probably my number 1 most hated ship in the Fairy Tail fandom. I have so many things I could say about it, I'll just start with these:
- YOU DON'T END UP WITH THE CRUSH YOU HAD WHEN YOU WERE TWELVE. Believe me, middle school crushes do not last. So why is it, many years later, people are still trying to ship the same ship that sailed AND SUNK many years ago? It's VERY, VERY CLEAR that Nali was over before it started.
- We all remember the famous crying scene Natsu had when he saw Lisanna for the first time in Edolas. But Lisanna clearly didn't deem the interaction (of nothing more than locking gazes for a few seconds) worth crying over. Natsu lost his childhood friend, and that scarred him. I get it. But Lisanna obviously doesn't miss Natsu as much as Natsu misses her. Also, we can't forget how Edolas Natsu and Edolas Lucy seem to have feelings for each other, and as far as we know, Lisanna didn't make a move on Edolas Natsu. So it's obvious that even if Natsu had feelings, they were crushed, just like Lisanna got over him when she went to Edolas.
- LUCY. Lucy Lucy Lucy. This is just a technical thing. Lucy is the main character--or, at least, the person whose story we follow as viewers--and what always happens when a show looses ratings? Make the main character hook up with someone. So I have no doubt that Nalu's ship will sail soon.

What do you see at the top of Natsu's writing? Here's the words you can clearly see: NALU, DLAGOM, Doc, BEER. Did you catch that? Nalu. I'm not sure if Mashima's animators just happened to cut off the rest of Natsu's name, but I don't think so. I think Mashima put that there because, indeed, a Nalu kiss will happen soon.
